Stella is a 5 or 6 year old female pug who was rescued from a puppy mill in Missouri. Because Stella was kept in a cage she was not used to being a pet, and she was very timid and shy around people. It hasn’t taken Stella long to adjust to being a pet. She gets along well with our resident pug, a lab and two cats. She enjoys sitting on laps, being petted and stroked behind her ears, being brushed, or just being around our family.

She loves to sleep on the bed with her chosen person. She is used to being crated, however, and spends most nights in her crate. Stella knows her name and will come when called. She is not used to being on a leash and she is in the process of becoming potty trained. Stella needs a family who is patient and wiling to take things slowly with her. Once you earn her trust, this gently lady will warm your heart.

Stella is spayed and up to date on her shots.
